NO NO NO you do NOT understand what you are about to watch. These are not retouched images. They are not photographs. Ron Mueck makes these SCULPTURES by HAND. Everything right down to the individual strands of hair are strategically placed. I’ve seen his exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and to this day I can not start nor finish any sentences when talking about his work. Each piece looks as if they will come to life right before your eyes. Please go check him out if you get the opportunity.
